Responding to increased interest among guests, Red Lion Hotels has announced that its corporate culinary team has converted all menu items at participating Red Lion restaurants, lounges and banquet facilities into zero trans fat selections.
The move is part of Red Lion's philosophy to provide guests with high-quality service and to create a memorable experience.
The menu items are, in fact, the same high-quality offerings guests have come to expect, but specific ingredients have been replaced to keep the menu items trans fat free without a loss in quality or taste. For example, a trans fat free product has replaced fryer oils, which are especially high in this type of fat.
Menus in all participating Red Lion restaurants and lounges are clearly displaying the brand's newly designed trans fat free logo. The brand's website, www.redlion.com, also identifies these restaurants and lounges.
Future plans include transitioning additional Red Lion restaurants, lounges and banquet facilities to the zero trans fat menu.
